LongCat-2.5-Preview
PreviewLongCat-2.5-Preview is Meituan's preview of its next LongCat model, launched on the LongCat API Platform on 2026-09-25 (changelog 'Version: 2026-09-25'); backfilled in the 2026-11-03 sweep. It adds native image understanding to the LongCat line (cross-modal Q&A, summarization, visual reasoning) along with coding and compatibility with agent tools such as Claude Code, OpenCode and Kilo Code. 1,048,576-token context, 131,072 max output. $0.30 / $1.20 per 1M input/output tokens ($0.006 cache hit), labeled promotional. API-only: unlike LongCat-2.0 there are no weights and no announced release date for them. Meituan publishes no parameter count (the 1.6T / 48B-active figure quoted in some press is LongCat-2.0's) and no benchmark scores. It became the most-used Meituan model on OpenCode.
