GPT-6 Rosalind

GPT-6 Rosalind is the second model in OpenAI's GPT-Rosalind line of life-sciences models, released 2026-10-30 (successor to GPT-Rosalind from April 2026). It combines GPT-6-generation capabilities with specialized biological reasoning and scientific tool use, pulling scientific databases and specialized software into multi-step research tasks. Served in the API as gpt-6-rosalind only to organizations approved for Rosalind Research through OpenAI's trusted-access program (approval for the lower Rosalind Discovery tier does not unlock it); in Enterprise workspaces it starts in a two-week admin preview, off by default, and it is not offered in the regular ChatGPT chat tab. OpenAI published no benchmark table or model card at release. Trackers report long-prompt pricing of $30 input / $112.50 output per 1M tokens; standard-rate pricing not confirmed.
