Gemini 4 Carbon
PreviewGemini 4 Carbon is Google DeepMind's next frontier model, announced 2026-10-28 two weeks after Gemini 4 Argon went generally available, and built on Argon. Google calls it its strongest model, with state-of-the-art cybersecurity and long-horizon capabilities. Access is staged: it is rolling out first to a subset of cyber defenders through Google's Fairwind Program, then to more trusted partners, with developers, enterprises and consumers to follow 'as soon as possible' (no date, and no public Gemini API model ID at launch). Announced pricing matches Argon's introductory $2 / $10 per 1M input/output tokens, rising to $4 / $20 later. Text, image, speech and video input; text output. Google says it ranks #1 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v5.0 with 59; Google reports 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro (vulnerability finding, evaluated without guardrails). Vals Index 70.36% (#2 at listing). Context window not yet published.
